Ed Radon has been promoted to Vice President of Operations (Americas) at Norican Group

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ed Radon has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Operations (Americas) at Norican Group in LaGrange, GA USA effective January 1, 2023. Ed will become a member of the Executive Team in LaGrange and report to Bruce Dienst with responsibility for all operations in LaGrange, GA. He will also continue with the same role for Simpson Technologies in Aurora, IL. He will relocate to the LaGrange area in the spring of 2023 and share his time between Norican in LaGrange and Simpson in Aurora.

Ed started his career at Beardsley & Piper (B&P) in 1978 immediately after finishing technical school working in their production workshop manufacturing various types of foundry equipment. When Simpson acquired B&P in 1998 Ed continued his career with Simpson in various roles as the Production & Manufacturing Manager, Supply Chain Manager and most recently Director of Operations. All together, Ed has more than 44 years of experience in the production of heavy machinery working in both the fully integrating manufacturing and fully outsourced models. Ed also has experience in supporting/working with the European supply chain through his oversight and support role related to Simpson Technologies GmbH in Germany.

As of 1/1/23 Ed’s direct reports will be Diane Dannewitz (Simpson Supply Chain Supervisor), Todd Yarbrough (Production Manager in LaGrange), Paul Alewine (Purchasing Manager in LaGrange), and Thomas Hampton (Warehouse/Logistics Manager in LaGrange).
