Emily Shedlarski Joins Simpson

We are very pleased to announce that as of January 20th Ms. Emily Shedlarski has joined Simpson as the Regional Account Manager – Southeast and is based in Chattanooga, TN. Ms. Shedlarski is primarily responsible for the sales of all Simpson products and services to all customers – foundry and process – in the states of MS, AL, GA, FL, TN, SC, NC, VA, WV and KY.

Throughout her career Ms. Shedlarski has significant experience in the foundry industry and has held several positions of increasing responsibility. Her most recent position, prior to joining Simpson, was as a Project Engineer at Mueller Water Products in Chattanooga, TN where she managed furnace upgrades, supervised a department, and supported corporate improvement objectives. Prior to that she worked for Hubbell Power Systems in Leeds, AL as a Foundry Manufacturing Engineer where she was the sole foundry engineer for 3 independent green sand foundries. There, she was the project manager for a foundry replacement project, which included the purchase of Simpson Analytics laboratory equipment, a major muller rebuild and implemented a preventative maintenance program.

Ms. Shedlarski is currently the AFS Tennessee Chapter 2nd Vice-Chairman and the Chairman of the 2020 AFS Southeast Regional Conference to be held in Chattanooga in early March. She is an active member of the AFS Women in Metalcasting and AFS Future Leaders in Metalcasting special interest groups.

She will be combining the wide range and continuously advancing of Simpson technolgies with her extensive knowledge and background in the foundry industry to offer customers high value, optimized solutions to make increasingly more complex, profitable castings.
