What is the best part of your role?  
It's a privilege to work with some of the most talented people in the foundry industry. Every day brings something new, and teaming up with the Simpson and Norican crew means you’re set up for success.  

If you could have a superpower to do your job better, what would it be and why? 
If only I could gain 40+ years of knowledge—like Bruce Dienst and Don Bergman—in just 18 months! It would make me so much more effective for my company, my team, and my customers if I could get an instant download.  

What makes Simpson stand out in driving results for foundries?
At Simpson, we're proud to help our customers optimize their entire sand plant, producing the best castings at the lowest input cost. We work closely with them, consulting on ways to boost efficiency. We’re not just about delivering a product and walking away—our equipment is built to last for decades, and we’re there to support our customers for the long haul. Can you still order spare parts for a 1960s beer fridge in your garage? Probably not. But you can get spare parts for a 1960 Mix Muller from Simpson. Even 64 years later, we’re still here, providing reliable support for our equipment.

What do you value most about the relationships/partnerships with our customers? 
Trust. It might sound cliché, but it's something you have to earn and build every day—and it's what makes everything worthwhile. Trust isn’t handed out; it’s earned. When your customers trust you and your company to treat them fairly and know you’re there to support them, they’ll stay loyal. In today’s unpredictable world, that’s hard to achieve. But in the foundry industry, trust is one of the most crucial values for lasting success.

What’s your most memorable customer moment? 
Touring the Dietermann Foundry in Germany with Franz was an incredible experience. Walking through the plant his family built and hearing him speak with such pride about their accomplishments over the years was truly inspiring. What made it even more special was seeing a Simpson 3G Mix Muller at the heart of the foundry’s sand preparation plant. Franz pointed to it and said, “Without the Simpson Mix Muller, we couldn’t continue building on the success my family achieved before me, and I will carry forward for the next generation.”
