We are very pleased to announce that starting March 1st , 2021 Mr. Cory Ashburn will be joining Simpson as the Regional Account Manager – Midwest and will be based out of southern Wisconsin. Mr. Ashburn will be primarily responsible for the sales of all Simpson products and services to all customers – foundry and process – in the states of IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, MO, NE, ND, SD and WI.
Throughout his career Mr. Ashburn has significant experience in the foundry industry and has held several positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Simpson he served 6 years as an Account Executive at Foseco / Vesuvius where he directed all sales initiatives throughout the entire product cycle for the leading filter and feeding supplier for the metal casting industry throughout a three-state region. Prior to that he worked for 11 years at American Colloid Company as the Product and Sales Manager where he directed all product development and sales initiatives for the nation’s largest supplier of bentonite and other mineral products through a three-state region. Early in his career he worked as a Regional Sales Manager for the Hill & Griffith Company based in Cincinnati, OH providing foundries with innovative solutions with a number of different products.
